More Information
Product Name Aurora kinase A, 1-403aa, Human, Recombinant
Description Aurora Kinase A is a member of a family of mitotic serine/threonine kinases. It is implicated with important processes during mitosis and meiosis whose proper function is integral for healthy cell proliferation. Aurora kinase A is highly expressed in testis and weakly in skeletal muscle, thymus and spleen. Also this protein plays a crucial role in tumourigenesis and is overexpressed in many kinds of cancers. Recombinant human Aurora-A fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
Synonyms Serine/threonine-protein kinase 6, Aurora-A, AIK, ARK1, AURA, BTAK, STK15, STK6, Aurora kinase A, AURKA, Serine/threonine-protein kinase 6 Aurora 2, Aurora A, aurora kinase A, IAK, Serine/threonine kinase 15.
