More Information
Product Name DHPS, 1-369aa, Human
Description DHPS, which belongs to the deoxyhypusine synthase family of proteins, is important for the first step in the hypusine biosynthesis pathway. This protein catalyzes the NAD-dependent transfer of the butylamine moiety of spermidine to the epsilon-amino group of a specific lysine residue of the EIF5A precursor protein to form the intermediate deoxyhypusine residue. Recombinant DHPS protein was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Synonyms MIG13, Deoxyhypusine synthase DHS, DS, Migration inducing gene 13.
Host E.coli
Molecular Weight 47.5 kDa (440aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF.
