More Information
Product Name Anti-CD264 / TRAIL-R4 Monoclonal Antibody
Description TRAIL-R4 (CD264, TR4, DcR2, TRUNDD), expressed mainly on CD8+ and NK cells, belongs to receptors of TRAIL, a TNF-like membrane toxic protein that induces apoptosis in many tumour cells, but not in normal cells. TRAIL-R4, however, contains partially truncated death domain, thus it is unable to induce apoptosis and serves as a negative regulator of apoptotic signaling by impairment death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) processing. TRAIL-R4 interacts with death receptor 5 (DR5) in the native DISC in a TRAIL-dependent manner and prevents its corecruitment with death receptor 4 (DR4). The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis of human blood cells using 4 μl reagent / 100 μl of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (0.4 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests.
