| Immunogen | Phospho-specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Tyr315 of human AKT1/ Tyr316 of human AKT2/ Tyr312 of human AKT3. |
| Isotype | IgG |
| Target | AKT1 phospho Tyr315 + AKT2 phospho Tyr316 + AKT3 phospho Tyr312 |
| Specificity | This antibody recognises AKT1 when phosphorylated at tyrosine 315, AKT2 when phosphorylated at tyrosine 316 and AKT3 when phosphorylated at tyrosine 312. AKT 1, 2 and 3 are serine/threonine protein kinases that play a key role in the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, known to regulate cell growth, proliferation and survival. AKT1 is phosphorylated at tyrosine 315 (corresponding to tyrosine 316/312 of AKT2/AKT3 respectively) by Src and PTK6, tyrosine phosphorylation is important for growth factor mediated activation of AKT. |
