| Specificity | This antibody is reactive with most collagen type III. Cross-reactivity of less than 1% with other collagens was detected by ELISA. Non-specific cross-reaction with other human serum proteins or non-collagen extracellular matrix proteins is negligible. Reactivity will be diminished with denatured collagen or formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues. It works best on non-denatured tissues. |
