Product Name | Cd14, 16-366aa, Mouse, Baculovirus |
---|---|
Description | Cd14, also known as monocyte differentiation antigen CD14, is a component of the innate immune system. This protein was found expressed in macrophages, neutrophil granulocyte and dendritic cells. It exists in two forms, one anchored to the membrane by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol tail (mCD14), the other a soluble form (sCD14). The major function is serve as a co-receptor (along with TLR4 and MD-2) for the bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and other pathogen-associated molecular patterns. Recombinant Mouse Cd14, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
