| Product Name | CD23 Monoclonal Antibody |
|---|---|
| Description | CD23, the low affinity IgE (Fc-epsilon) receptor, is a glycoprotein present on a subpopulation of B lymphocytes in germinal centres, and on EBV-transformed B-lymphoblastoid cell lines. CD23 is also expressed on monocytes and dendritic cells. CD23 is primarily expressed on B cells and monocytes, including a strong expression on Epstein-Barr Virus-transformed B lymphoblasts. Anti-CD23 is a useful aid for classification of CD23-positive B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma.Low-affinity receptor for immunoglobulin E (IgE) and CR2/CD21. Has essential roles in the regulation of IgE production and in the differentiation of B-cells (it is a B-cell-specific antigen). |
