A second transcript from this gene has been described, but its full length nature has not been determined. This RefSeq record was created from transcript and genomic sequence data because no single transcript was available for the full length of the gene. The extent of this transcript is supported by transcript alignments and Northern Blot. May be involved in cell migration, cartilage development and in linking signal transduction pathways to the cytoskeleton. This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Bovine TNS1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Bovine TNS1 and analogues was observed. |
