| Reconstitution | The kit provides a simple method for detecting gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (gamma-GT) enzyme activity in a variety of biological samples such as tissues, cell, serum, bacterial. In the assay, gamma-GT catalyzes the transfer of the gamma-glutamyl group in glutamyl p-nitroaniline to N-glycylglycine to generate p-nitroaniline, which has characteristic light absorption at 405nm. gamma-GT enzyme activity is calculated by measuring the rate of increase in absorbance at 405nm. |
