More Information
Product Name GIP-1 (3-42) (human)
Description GIP (3-42) is produced by cleavage of the first two amino acid residues at the N-terminal (Tyr1-Ala2) from GIP (1-42), also known as GIP, by the serine protease dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV). GIP (3-42) itself has no biological activity, but it can compete with GIP for the receptor binding site, resulting in GIP receptor (GIPR) inhibition.
