| Reconstitution | This kit can measure glycogen concentration in animal tissues, bacteria and cells. The principle of the kit is the extraction of glycogen under strong alkaline conditions. Under strongly acidic conditions, the extracted glycogen forms blue compounds with the anthrone chromogenic agent which have a characteristic absorption peak at 620 nm. Within a certain concentration range, the glycogen concentration is linearly related to the absorbance at 620 nm. According to the standard curve, the glycogen concentration in the sample can be calculated. |
