More Information
Product Name HEXA, 23-529aa, Human, Baculovirus
Description HEXA, also known as beta-hexosaminidase subunit alpha preproprotein, is an enzyme, located on the 15th chromosome. Hexosaminidase A and the cofactor GM2 activator protein catalyze the degradation of the GM2 gangliosides and other molecules containing terminal N-acetyl hexosamines. Hexosaminidase A is a heterodimer composed of an alpha subunit and a beta subunit. Recombinant human HEXA, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
