| Product Name | Human Tumor marker DR-70 for lung cancer (DR-70TM) ELISA Kit |
|---|---|
| Description | Tumor markers are substances that are produced by cancer or by other cells of the body in response to cancer or certain benign (noncancerous) conditions. Most tumor markers are made by normal cells as well as by cancer cells; however, they are produced at much higher levels in cancerous conditions. These substances can be found in the blood, urine, stool, tumor tissue, or other tissues or bodily fluids of some patients with cancer. Most tumor markers are proteins. However, more recently, patterns of gene expression and changes to DNA have also begun to be used as tumor markers. Human Tumor marker DR-70 for lung cancer (DR-70TM) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate DR-70TM in samples. An antibody specific for DR-70TM has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any DR-70TM present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, HRP-Conjugate Human DR-70TM detection antibody is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound HRP reagent, a Chromogen solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of DR-70TM bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. |
