More Information
Product Name RTDLDSLRTYTL
Description RTDLDSLRTYTL is a phage library selected high affinity 12-mer peptide with high selectivity for alpha(v) beta(6) integrin (avb6). RTDLDSLRTYTL is a selective inhibitor of RGD dependent ligand binding to avb6 in isolated receptor assays with an IC50 of 20 nM, and also in cell adhesion assays with an IC50 of 50 mM. When tested against avb6 binding to immobilized fibronectin, RTDLDSLRTYTL peptide strongly inhibits the avb6 fibronectin interaction with an IC50 of 100 nM. avb6 is a specific receptor for fibronectin which supports epithelial cell proliferation during wound healing and carcinoma progression.
