|Product Name||MARCKSL1, 1-195aa, Human|
|Background||MARCKS-related protein, also known as MARCKSL1, is a member of MARCKS family of PKC substrate. It is widely used in the signal transduction studies as an indicator of PKC activation. Expressed in a variety of tissues with highest levels found in testis and uterus, MARCKSL1 participates in the coordination of membrane-cytoskeletal signaling events, including secretion, migration, phagocytosis and cell adhesion. Additionally, MARCKSL1 functions as a regulator of Integrin activation and is thought to regulate Integrin-dependent signal transduction pathways, especially those involved in macrophage spreading. Recombinant human MARCKSL1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.|
